The box is a solid size for a quick weeknight meal — I used it for a simple tomato sauce and it cooked up perfectly al dente in about 10 minutes. Versatile enough to toss with just about anything.

The penne held its shape nicely through boiling and didn’t turn mushy, which made it a solid base for a quick weeknight sauce. For a box this size, it’s a no-fuss pantry staple I’ll grab again.

I’ve been using this single box of penne for quick weeknight dinners, and it’s just the right amount for two generous servings. The pasta cooks up evenly and holds its shape nicely in a simple tomato sauce, which makes it a solid pantry staple for me.
